Wal-Mart

I actually did a little Wal-Mart shopping this week. I usually don't go there because every coupon Natzi in my little small town works there, or so it seems. But I had printed the Kotex coupon and read about the Velveeta prices at Wal-mart so off I went.
2 - Axe body wash (trail size ) $.97 each used 2 $1 coupons
2 -Velveeta Shells and Cheese cups $.98 each used 1 $1.50 off 2 coupon
2 - Velveeta Shells and Cheese boxed $1.50 each used 1 $1.50 off 2 coupon
Johnson's Buddies Soap $.97 used $1 coupon
2 - Sierra Mist 2 ltrs $1 each used a BOGO coupon
2 - Kotex Liners $1 each used 2 $1 coupons
Total Value $11.87 Total Spent $2.87

Great deals! I am shopping less and less at Walmart because the two closest to me no longer accept any printed coupons. I called Walmart customer service and was told that the decision on whether to accept them or not is left up to the individual manager. Oh well, more shopping time at my favorite Publix!

Have a great evening!

Your Walmart workers must come here to the big city on weekends then :-) Oh the stories I could tell :-) But you all have heard them all I am sure.
There is one that fights with me every time and the time I go she is usually the only cashier open that early. "But it's not the picture on the coupon!" Well, it says ANY.

Sometimes I wonder if the same cranky cashiers wouldn't be happier if they too were saving as much on their grocery bill. .... sigh....My coupon natzi's reside at my local Walgreens. I just smile and say thnak you even if they don't.:)

My Wal-Mart is fabulous about coupons! And, I have a few favorite checkers who will leap through hoops to get me the best savings.

Now our Texas H.E.B.? No coupon combining. And, they are higher than Walmart -- so I rarely shop there. Peeves me off...

Everytime I go to Walmart I have a problem with my coupons. I always get the rudest person checking me out that hates people with coupons. Next time I go I think I'll ask them if they would like a course on couponing to save them a little extra. I wonder what kind of response I would get?????

I love Walmart for their great prices! The one near is undergoing rennovations and is not very nice to be in right now. Looking forward to when it's complete and I can head back for more bargains!!!

That's the problem I have with Walmart, they don't stock their shelves enough so I never get what I went there for!

I have only recently started shopping at my local Wal-Mart. Since it has become a Super Wal-Mart, people are more spread out. It is not so crowded.

That is some great value shopping! I've got to start getting better at using coupons. I know it's such a waste not to but I'm not sure why I'm so reluctant...

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

And your girls are gorgeous!

For those of you having problems with printed coupons at Walmart--there is a written corporate policy that Walmart DOES accept internet printed coupons. See my blog post-archived 11/15/08 that has a link--print it out and take it to a manager, not a customer service person. Insist that they contact coporate for clarification of the Wamart official coupon policy.
