As most of you know, we were blessed with snow
and ice last Friday. We did lots of playing outside,
lots and lots of sledding.
Although the weather has warmed, we still have
quite a bit of ice, so no school today or tomorrow.
This is a blessing for us. My youngest has strep throat
and 2 ear infections. She does not feel well at all.
So I rented this.......
Stopped by the local Redbox.It is free movie Monday.
I have to say I enjoyed the movie.
My daughter however.....
Well I think she is finally feeling a little better so shecan get some rest.

Oh! Bless your daughter's heart! Our kids had strep throat all the time as they were growing up. Breaks your heart to see them feeling poorly.
On another note ... I need to pick up "This Is It". Did you see the tribute to him last night on the Grammy's? it was awesome!

Bummer about the strep. I had it all the time as a kid and finally had to have my tonsils removed. I have never had it since!
My 2 year old is dealing with bronchitis right now. No fun. :(
Oh Denise, I'm so sorry that your baby has strep throat... (Guess she wouldn't appreciate being called the baby!!! Ha)
Hope she feels better soon... I'm sure she would say that the sledding was worth it!!!!

poor little lamb. The only good thing about Strep throat is: it responds quickly to a penicillin shot. Hope she's on the mend and thank for stopping by Holyoke Home.

Oh I am so sorry. We went through strep all yer last year. They finally took Blaze's tonsils and adenoids out Dec 1. He had it 8 times in 10 months and would have to have 2 rounds of antibiotic and ended up with pneumonia 3 times from the drainage. Not good. I am thrilled now though since he hasn't had it.
Strep throat really kicks my daughter's butt! She has had it twice this year:-(
Strep AND two ear infections! Poor thing. I hope she feels better soon.
Jonathan had strep throat a couple weeks ago. So far he's the only one in the family who gets it. The last time was three years ago.
Several kids were out at our school last week with strep throat. Maybe the time out of school will keep it from spreading. Glad she is feeling better.
