Apparently there has been a article published recently explaining the con's of using coupons. This prompeted alot of discussion among bloggers who promote using coupons. So I decided to make a quick trip to Kroger, buying items in the Mega Event sale that had printable coupons available. Here is what I purchased:

I used only printable coupons just to show how easy it is to save money on things we use all the time. Although this is not all it would take to feed my family for a week it shows how buying things when they are on sale and cooking with what you have available will save you money.
