Kroger Trip 75% Savings

Well I had an amazing trip today to Kroger.... my highest savings ever. In 4 transactions I spent less than $25 and saved over $100.
-
I bought:
-
4 BC Warm Delights
2 Pilsbury Toaster Scrambles
5 Nature Valley Granola Bars
5 Nature Valley Granola Thins
2 Boxes Capri Suns
2 Digiorn0 Frozen Pizza
4 Boxes Fruit Roll ups
1 Pkg Cottonelle TP (12 roll)
1 Pkg Sandwich Boxes
1 lb pkg Hamburger
2 Pkgs FiberOne Yogurt
4 Pkgs Old El Paso Taco Shells
-
I did find out that buying 5 boxes of NV granola bars earns you a $3.50 catalina and
buying 4 boxes of Fruit Roll ups earns you $3 catalina. I did put these to good use in my transactions and I still have $3.50 left to spend.

.....And, I was told at Kroger today that you can no longer use paper coupons for items that have had an eCoupon apply. I don't know how this will be monitored but I was told this is the new policy.

Awesome! Seems like coupon stacking is becoming crazy popular these days. If I wait even a day or two, either the coupons or the items are out. It'll be easier to get back into the stacking groove in less than 2 weeks!! Back to school for the kiddos!!

I'm really hoping that the new Ecoupon rule won't apply to all Krogers.

Hi Denise, Our Kroger keeps changing its rules also... Drives me crazy... First they took expired coupons and then they didn't... Guess it depends upon who is checking you out....

I saved money there this week on their buy 4 of various kinds of things (their shredded cheese --which we eat constantly; kleenix; canned tomatoes and fruit, etc.).. Saved $4 just on 8 items. Then of course, we get the 5% Sr. discount every Wed....

Hope you all have had a great summer. Can't believe that school is already starting....
Hugs,
Betsy

I am so glad to finally see someone saving money at Kroger! I see lots of Publix deals online but they don't exist in Virginia.
