…. The Tree is up!!

Well we finally decorated the Christmas tree Wednesday night. For us that means our decorating is just about complete. I love our tree, the lights vary, some shine steady and some twinkle. It is a great effect. Our tree is decorated with a variety of ornaments, both handmade and store bought. If we have an occasion to have guests in for the Holidays (last year it was the girls basketball team, those girls could really eat) we always get complements on it.

I would love to just sit and stare at it. Problem is, the way our room is laid out, the tree is in front of the window in the den and the furniture faces the other way. I would love to have a corner TV stand and rearrange the furniture to make the tree more of a focal point.

What about you? Is your Christmas tree the focal point of your room at Christmas?

This is a sponsored post but the opinions are all my own.

It didn't use to be. Our old house didn't have any room for a tree in the family room. It would be in the living room, I would have to go sit in there to enjoy it. My tree is up but not done. 1/4 of the ornaments are on. (179 so far)
Yes I am crazy. I don't think I will finish it for a week or so. I've decided that I have to get the out of town gifts & cards out first. Not feeling well either so I am just trying to catch up from my 4 days away. Your tree looks beautiful. Have a nice weekend.

It's beautiful, Denise. We don't have ours up yet. We don't have much room to put one up, so we usually wait another week to do it. Hope you have a nice weekend!

I love your tree -it's always nice to have it in front of a window.
We have put our tree in our den because of our little grandson. So now we go visit the Christmas room. It's pretty and I don't have to tell him no all the time!

A beautiful tree!! Ours is in the back corner of the living room, but you are facing it when you come in the kitchen door.I like your angel topper, I have been topperless for three years now! You just can hardly find toppers anywhere!

Very nice! I love to sit and look at the tree when all the lights are off and the house is completely quiet. We will be putting up our tree next weekend. Happy weekend!

Your tree is beautiful! We plan on picking ours out this weekend from a field that my husband's family is clearing out to farm...so we'll get a tree and help clear out the field at the same time! ;-)

Our tree isn't the focal point but, like you, I could just sit and stare. :-)

Yes, tree is up, and like you, the focal point. All else is extra...

If I don't get anything else done this year, the tree is enough!

Loving all the coupon deals here...

Beautiful tree - it looks perfect! Yes, the tree is a focal point in the downtown condo. Place is so small and tree is so big it's hard for it not to be the center of attention, as it should be this time of the year!

More or less, but that's because we have a tiny, tiny house with a small living room so it kinda doesn't have a choice. That's okay. Our tree is a mixture of homemade and school made ornaments and others we have purchased. It has lots of Snoopy (my fav) and Goofy (Yohn's fav) and various other cartoon characters that our family loves. So in a nutshell, our tree is us!
