We Built A Snowman

We have had a very cold and fun day!

Rolling our snowman's body in the road first.....

Then shaping it up in the front yard...

All done!!

It looks great and is pretty big! Don't you love the face and buttons? Several years ago my sister gave the girls a snow man kit for Christmas!! It works great.

We just need to add a hat!

Love it! I also love the idea of a snowman kit! I seen one on another blog before Christmas and I hope to make one soon.

Have fun playing in the snow!

That's a great snowman even without the hat!

So was it an official snow day today, no school, or was this an after school adventure?

Such fun and a great snow man. Playing in the snow is so much fun...making snowmen, snow angels, snow forts and my favorite snow ball fights...these smiles speak for themselves!

I wish I still had photos of my Jack in the Box snowman. I built it with a few friends about *cough* years ago. It was the best snowman ever. We used mustard for the yellow hat, and dark blue dye for the eyes and black for the smile and red for the nose....it was really cool

Our snowmen never turn out. Usually we end up with a small snow hill and leave it at that so way to go!

What an unusual storm this has been. We are getting more snow this morning. But I have one that needs to travel your direction to get back to college and one with a 102 fever so only a few are truly enjoying this rarity.

Cute snowman! Wish we had gotten snow instead of ice.
