Last Thursday I received a phone call from the High School Principal. We all know that can be a little upsetting, but he assured me there was nothing wrong and wanted to share some wonderful news with me.
My middle daughter (now a Junior) has been selected to represent our high school as a leader of our county.
This is what the local news had to say.... "Students were selected by faculties of each school and will participate in the coming months. Throughout the many scheduled events students will be learning leadership and good citizenship skills, the history of our County, and government facts in general."
There were 6 students selected from each of our 3 county high schools. Needless to say I am very proud!
