Homecoming Float Updates

Wow - what a week we have had. Float building is over and the Lord blessed us last night by not raining on our parade.
-

The girls woke up at 3 this morning for school. Their school was featured this morning as the Channel 4 News Cool School. Parents were invited but I decided to watch from home. I have had the chance to talk to my oldest and she had so much fun!! Very exciting time for them.
-

Here are some final pictures from float building.
-

Juniors first:

Working draw bridge and moat. They have a working water fall but I failed to get any pictures.

Sophomore float....

Final pictures looking good.

Small purple pomped car actually drives on the float around a track.

Freshman float..... It moves up and down.

Senior float... I did not get a finished picture. It is cute had a working siren.

This has been a wonderful week for the kids. Now if the rain can just hold off tonight and we can win the game it will be perfect.

See the floats from the begining here and here.

Wow, those are some great floats. The kids really put a lot of work into them!

What fun that must have been. I've never worked on a float. Maybe I should go sign up to help with a Rose Bowl Parade float!

Wow. These are amazing!!!
I remember working on floats when I was younger, but we never made anything like this.
I'm impressed!

What awesome floats! We always just had one for our high school and it was pretty lame.
Thanks for coming by my blog today

That is one cute lite car. My daughter's high school has floats that look pretty bad compared to these.
